Who is hiring?

Award winning PR/Communications agency based in Central London are seeking a talented Talent Acquisition Manager to join the team in a newly created role!  As the business has had lots of new business wins, the team is growing at an exponential rate!  They are looking for someone who has a strong network and contact list within the PR/Comms field and who is full of drive, energy and enthusiasm.  You will be responsible for identifying, attracting and acquiring top PR and Creative talent, working closely with hiring managers to understand the business needs.

The role in a nutshell

  • Utilise various channels, including LinkedIn, job-boards, social media, networking events, and industry partnerships, to identify, headhunt and attract top PR talent.
  • Support DEI initiatives to attract more diverse talent into the agency.
  • Manage internship hires and support building the internship programme.
  • Conduct initial screenings and assessments of potential candidates.
  • Build the freelancer network and create a pipeline of talent to tap into.
  • Partner with hiring managers and Directors to understand their client teams needs and develop and maintain comprehensive job descriptions.
  • Facilitate communication between hiring managers and candidates to ensure a smooth and efficient recruitment process.
  • Cultivate relationships with potential candidates, providing a positive and engaging experience throughout their recruitment journey.
  • Communicate effectively with candidates, keeping them informed about the status of their application and providing timely and constructive feedback.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, salary benchmarks, and competitor activities to inform recruitment strategy and maintain competitiveness in attracting top talent for the agency.
  • Track and report on recruitment metrics, including time-to-fill, source effectiveness, and candidate quality, to continuously improve the recruitment process and measure our success.
  • Attending recruitment fairs/external events representing the agency.

What skills and experience would make you perfect for this role? 

  • Proven experience as an inhouse recruiter, preferably within PR and communications.
  • Strong understanding of the public relations industry and the skills required for success in the field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive and results-driven with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrate the ability to manage your time effectively with great attention to detail.
  • Represent the agency in a professional manner at external events.
