The role in a nutshell

  • Managing databases
  • Booking transport and accommodation
  • Implementing and maintaining office policies
  • Organising meetings, events or conferences
  • Liaising with employees at all levels, including senior management
  • Managing and transferring telephone calls, letters and emails
  • Ensuring that office supplies and resources are stocked and replenished
  • Recording office expenditure and managing the budget
