Global B2B tech PR agency with a strong and enviable client list.  With offices based in the US and Europe and a couple more to open.  This is a newly created role and would suit someone who wants to be part of a growing and inclusive team.

The role in a nutshell

The role is to oversee all HR activities focusing on driving the agency’s culture and behaviours through recruitment and people management. This role manages the agency’s recruitment, performance management and training programmes and establishes the HR procedures and processes.

Human resources strategy

  • Work closely with the CEO on resourcing the agency’s business plan
  • Develop a people management strategy to support each office
  • Implement the HR strategy across the agency
  • Work closely with external HR consultants as needed
  • Introduce and drive change management initiatives
  • Develop effective HR procedures and policies

Culture and values

  • Embody and promote the agency’s mission, values and behaviours
  • Engage best practice in team recruitment to attract and hire the right people
  • Develop and reinforce the right management culture to support and focus the team
  • Develop and maintain channels of communication across the agency offices
  • Keep all employees informed of key organisational issues
  • Establish a consistent approach to on-boarding and integrating new joiners


  • Take responsibility for recruitment across the agency
  • Work with the senior management team to define client service resourcing needs
  • Develop a systematic approach to finding, interviewing and recruiting talent
  • Map and address the skill sets needed across the offices and teams
  • Work with marketing to develop and promote our employer brand
  • Implement recruitment practices consistently across each office
  • Develop relationships with key recruitment partners


Learning and development

  • Plan and develop training and development programmes across the agency
  • Develop hard and soft skills programmes to deliver both skills and behaviours
  • Work with the Client operations director to address team and individual needs
  • Evaluate training needs across offices, teams and individuals
  • Coordinate internal and external training delivery
  • Evaluate and recommend cost-effective outside providers.

HR procedures and processes

  • Work closely with the operations manager on HR administration
  • Make sure that managers and staff are fully aware of HR policies
  • Give expert help as needed on a variety of HR topics
  • Organise and coordinate staff benefits
  • Communicate with employees about compensation, pension, holidays and other benefits
  • Manage the agency performance management systems and processes
  • Oversee investigations and complex employee relations such as redundancy or grievance
  • Advise on compliance and risk management issues
